The A1Care Test is a glycohemoglobin (A1c) dried blood spot diagnostic test.  An A1c test is considered the gold standard in diabetes testing for humans. Specifically indicated for use in both dogs and cats, it provides up to 6 times more historical average glucose levels than tests that vet hospitals may be using.  A1C provides an average of the prior 70 days for cats and 110 days for dogs.
