The protective veterinary boot with a soft, antimicrobial bamboo and silver lining. This boot is designed to protect wounds in the final stages of healing from licking, scratching and biting. Use boot directly over wound. Recheck according to clinic wound care protocols.

Indicated for dog and cat treatment with the following wounds:

• Burns, degloving, hot spots – at the maturation/remodeling phase of healing.
• Excessive licking and irritation, lick granulomas – anytime with no exudate.

Monitor wound at least 2-3 times per day (more often in warmer climates) for signs of infection: Foul odor, swelling, redness, pain, heat, discharge.

Monitor boot for: Slippage, wet/damp boot or lining, chaffing.

Note, unlike our other boots, the Slim is not waterproof or water resistant .  Therefore it is recommended to use a Mediapaw X to cover the slim for outdoor use.
