Penn Vet's goals are to protect our team members while also continuing to provide customers exceptional customer service.

Operations

We continue to stay open regular hours - Monday through Friday from 7am-7pm EST. When possible, our team members continue to work remotely from the safety of their homes. And for our onsite team members, such as the warehouse teams, we are conducting daily temperature checks.

Human Resources

The human resources team continues to keep team members up to date on COVID-19 updates. The HR team also shares continuous tips on COVID-19 prevention. We think it's important to keep our team members healthy so they are able to serve you!

Sales Team

Our field sales team (Territory Managers) has also transitioned to working remotely from home. However, their current status varies depending upon location. Where it is safe and welcomed by customers, they are visiting practices. During visits, the field sales team wear masks.

They are also conducting virtual visits to keep customers updated on all the latest updates, new products, and promotions. If you'd like to schedule an in-person or virtual meeting, please reach out to your sales representative.

Products on allocation:

  • Exam gloves - Our latex, nitrile, and vinyl exam gloves continue to be difficult to source. Demand has also increased due to COVID-19 which has further strained supply. The cost of gloves has tripled in the past year.
  • Face masks - When our inexpensive face masks became unavailable in early 2020, we quickly brought in new masks - both disposable and reusable. Our stock of masks is better, but the cost has gone up significantly. These products also had very high demand.
  • 3cc and 1cc syringes with needles - Rumors have been swirling about possible supply issues on syringes with needles due to the push for the COVID-19 vaccines. The 3cc syringes have been affected more than the 1cc syringes. We started to see some panic buying, so we put these on allocation to help protect stock for customers. This allocation only applies to 1cc and 3cc syringes with needle. As of now, we are not implementing allocations on syringes without needles, needles, or insulin syringes. You can take your allotment by the case which also helps our warehouse teams with pulling and packing orders.

We are here for you! Please let us know how we can help in any way!
