Hartmann’s Solution is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution for fluid and electrolyte replenishment in single dose containers for parenteral administrations. It contains no antimicrobial agents. Vetivex is indicated for the treatment of dehyration and metabolic acidosis in cattle, horses, dogs, and cats. It may be used to correct volume depletion (hypovolemia) resulting in gastrointestinal disease or shock. NOTE: Vetivex is also known as Hartmann's Solution.  It is made in the UK and is an excellent substitute for Lactated Ringers.
