Supply Chain and Shipping Updates

Updated 1/25/21

Shipping

Our warehouse teams are still practicing social distancing and safety while still processing orders at an unprecedented pace. We continue to add team members and adjusted our workflow so that we continue to ship most orders received before 7pm EST the same day.

UPS's service guarantee remains suspended. Customers are still experiencing longer than normal transit times.

If you would like printable signs to communicate your package delivery protocols with carriers, view our COVID-19 Marketing Resources (Log in to access) to see what's available.

The best way to manage your shipments is through your UPS My Choice® account.

Supply Chain

We are still seeing supply chain disruptions due to COVID-19. Some of the disruptions are due to sourcing active ingredients, packaging issues, or other reasons. However, our purchasing team continues to work tirelessly to keep your clinic stocked. We are constantly searching for alternative options for products that continue to go in and out of backorder.

We are still using the allocation system to protect stock for our loyal customers. When necessary, we will put a product on allocation where customers can order their allotment of product within a certain time period. This helps prevent any one customer from buying up all the product at one time.

Keep in mind that there are other backorders as well that are not due to COVID-19.

Here are some tips:

  • Keep additional stock on hand by upping your reorder point. For example, if you normally keep 2 bottles of a medication in stock, we suggest keeping at least 3. Don’t stockpile inventory, but at the same time don't run as lean as you normally would.
  • Try to order refrigerated products such as vaccines and insulin early in the week - the earlier the better. That will reduce your risk of your refrigerated products arriving warm.
  • Share any backorder rumors you hear with us! We use this information to investigate and protect your business by making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Read our weekly email updates. We share all the latest product updates as well and information on new products and promotions.
  • Don't panic buy. We use an allocation system to keep customers from buying huge quantities of product at one time. Keep your clinic stocked by taking your allotment.
